REJO collaborated with Cappellini to design the RED Bookcase, which reflects the studio’s signature boldness, combining functionality, artistic expression, and modern design.

The RED Bookcase by REJO studio transcends mere functionality, becoming a distinctive element within any personal library. Crafted from premium oak wood veneer, open pore lacquered in red colour, it preserves the natural beauty of the wood while adding warmth and texture to the space.
With extended lines and layered steps, the structure of the RED Bookcase offers a dynamic yet harmonious arrangement, transforming book organization into a visually balanced experience. Its deep, rich red tone serves as a bold yet refined backdrop, enhancing the presence of each volume.

Unknotting the past, dreaming of Home

I dream of the tiered folds in my mother’s dress tied with a knot that adorns her neck, and I feel what these folds hide from the inherited stories of our ancestors, as if they preserve underneath them what we have lived as Palestinians throughout history.

In each knot, Palestine whispers. Intricate threads, like whispered stories, bind layers of our lives, weaving a tapestry across generations. From grandparents’ hushed tales, passed down like heirlooms, to our whispers echoing through time, each layer whispers resilience, shaping who we are. Hearts embracing home, a testimony to its unity and unyielding strength.

And I dream of our little feet running on the green plains of the homeland, and the colors of the carpet blooming as an integral part of our memories.
