REJO, a Riyadh and Istanbul-based furniture design studio, was founded in 2017 by Palestinian architects Reem Olyan and Jumana Qasem. The studio aspires to elevate identity and cultural heritage through furniture and object design.
REJO aims to create bold, unique pieces that resonate with the stories of the past while embracing contemporary expression. By merging simplicity, abstract forms, and vibrant artistry, their designs celebrate culture, beauty, and strength.
The studio’s work has been showcased at major design fairs, including Milan Design Week, Dubai Art Week, London Craft Week, Dubai Design Week, Diriyah Biennale of Contemporary Art and Misk Art Week.
In 2024, the studio was named one of Dwell 24’s Best Emerging Designers and previously won the “Best Regional Furniture Brand” award from Harper’s Bazaar Interiors.
REJO collaborated with Italian brand Cappellini to design the RED Bookcase, which reflects the studio’s signature boldness, combining functionality, artistic expression, and modern design.
REJO also collaborated with the DESIGNEAST X JAIPUR RUGS brand to design a rug with the locals.
